The Badminton Horse Trials is a jam packed four-day-event situated in Badminton Village in Gloucestershire, and it is one of the most acclaimed equestrian events around.
In excess of 150,000 exhilarated spectators swarm upon the village to witness the Mitsubishi Motor Badminton Horse Trials throughout the weekend.
The initial event commenced 66 years ago in 1949, initiated by the 10th Duke of Beaufort and has since flourished into one of if not THE most significant paid entry sporting events in the UK.

Due to popularity and high demand, the mid-week come weekend event has become a spectacle and there is certainly much more to it than just equine events.

There are countless displays across the weekend including a Stallion Display, Shetland Pony Display, Band Displays and a parade of Duke of Beaufort’s Hounds.
